Hi
The pcie layout on my mobo (evga x58 sli3)will better accomodate using a x8 lane for the geforce gt 440 (fan is a little thick and it obscures a x1 lane I wanted to use for an intensity card)

Will vmix performance be affected if not using the fullspeed x16 pcie lane?

Hi Bruce,

vMix does not overly depend on the GPU bandwidth (x8 or x16) so either would be fine.
The only exception would be if you plan on using more than 4 cameras in which case x16 is probably recommended.
