We are upgrading our church live stream system from SD to HD and decided to use VMix, while watching a recent youtube video about VMix (either fun time or streaming idiots) I noticed that the reference system uses the GTX 960 (4 inputs) or the GTX 1060 (more inputs), is such a powerfull GPU necessary?

Initially we will only have 2 cameras and one NDI input, recording will probably be done by an external Atomos Ninja 2.

At the moment we have a GTX 750 Ti on order for the new VMix PC. I have tested VMix in SD using 3 outputs (full hd) on our old pc using a pinnacle 710 usb that also has a GTX 750 Ti, but I cant test it in HD because the HD capture card (DeckLink Quad 2) has not arrived.

@ hebermc

I suspect you will be fine with the GTX750 Ti with less than 4 HD Cameras.
(personally, I am partial to cards above the x60 Series with Nvidea, but that's just me)
As per the vMix Supported Hardware page:

"All DirectX 10 Compatible graphics cards are supported.
The speed of the graphics card will determine how many HD cameras, inputs and simultaneous recording, streaming and outputs are possible."

The x50 Series of cards appears to be an acceptable mid-range card for typical usage.
