Hiya Guys,
Appreciate any help please.
Excellent spec laptop:

CPU Family Intel Core i7
Processor Number 3720QM
CPU Speed 2.6 GHz
L3 Cache 6 MB
Chipset Manufacturer Intel
Chipset Model QM77 Express
Memory Size 8192 MB
Memory Bus Speed 1600 MHz
Memory Type DDR3 SDRAM

Capture using a USB capture device; with S-Video and Composite

Camera: Sony-HDV1000
Works well in FMLE using all connections options, component, composite and S-Video.
Able to stream well using Influxis and also embedded php code in webpages.
So not problem there with the hardware or software.

Tried porting it across to vMix and even though the device is being recognised within vMix as OEM Device (similar to FMLE) there is no stream apparent at all. The input screen remains black.

vMix has been installed and started as Administrator.
I have checked that vMix is working and the inputs are working by adding a variety of webcams as inputs, all of which work well.

I have been through to the Input: OEM Device settings and played about with all of the options changing using S-Video, Composite etc.
I have gone into the Input: OEM Device Advanced Tab;
Added Self-Render and not

Clicked on the OEM Device Tab and
Changed the Video Decoder options e.g. PAL_B etc

Clicked on the OEM Crossbar Tab and
Gone through all of the options and changed the Input through Composite In, S-Video In etc.
Clicked on `Link Related Streams' and not.

Basically, I have spent a full day going through all of the options and the input screen remains black.

So two questions please:
a) Can you suggest any configuration option that might work
b) Is it possible to use the FMLE Stream, that works well, as an input into vMix?

As always, I do particpate both ways and am happy to help as well.

We have a Children In Need charity thing running in the UK at the moment. If anyone can help me to get this up and running please, I would be more than happy to donate £20.00 to Children in need.

Many thanks!

Hiya Guys,
ok - Since FMLE is working well, I have been playing with using FMLE as an input to vMix.

My problem is similar to http://forums.vmix.com.a...t.aspx?g=posts&t=342

In FMLE my rtmp string is 'rtmp://a5qsg***.rtmphost.com/InfluxisPlayer' and the connection string is 'livestream', I have tried several combinations of strings like 'rtmp://a5qsg***.rtmphost.com/InfluxisPlayer/livestream, rtmp://a5qsg***.rtmphost.com/InfluxisPlayer/livestream:live' and others. But, I cannot ascertain what the correct format to add as an input into vMix might be

Can you help me to find the correct string please?

Many Thanks

Hiya Guys,
ok - There was some glitch, I've got the RTMP stream working as an input into vMix.
The correct format was: tmp://a5qsq***.rtmphost.com/InfluxisPlayer/livestream (where livestream was the name of the stream as entered in FMLE)

The followup question is; does using a Flash/RTMP stream as an input into vMix increase the latency or delay rather than using a direct physical input into vMix?

I would still like to be able to add the direct physical stream into vMix please as entering the rtmp stream is the second best option (However, I am pleased that I am able to enter some stream into vMix).

As always, Many Thanks Guys!

Cheers
