This is purely a user error but the close button is right above the overlay 1 button for each input.

We have volunteers who accidentally click the close button when trying to click the overlay 1 button.
When that happens they are stuck as that input was setup by someone else and they have no idea how to get it back.

Feature Request.
Option 1: Add a "Lock" item for each Input in Configure area that removes the "Close" button and places it in Configure Area.
Option 2: Add a "Confirm Close" item in Input Configure

Edit 1: I forgot about the general lock button on the bottom right of the main window. This helps but still would be nice to have individual input lock.

Thanks
Martin

I just wanted to post this request too
I was pushed in hand during stream and i close one of the main inputs because I was going to click overlay one but mouse went to close and it was gone.

Confirmation on Close / Yes or No is the best solution

The lock button on the lower right of screen all ready caters for this.

The lock button does help but here are a few things to consider.

1. From a pure user interface design perspective, what should be on the input interface are the most used / valuable features.
The Close button is the least used, takes up a lot of space, and could be used for other more important features of an input.
Close is only used once and is instant. I think it could easily be moved to input settings, right click, "X" top right, or add a Ask before Close option.

2. When not locked, it really is easy to mis-click it when using overlays. Saying "be more careful" for volunteers, less training people, or by just by accident could be easily remedied by any of the above.

3. The one problem I have with the Lock button is that it also locks Stop Stream / Recording etc. These buttons already have the option to ask before close so this is a bit redundant. I think it would be better if the lock button just effected the inputs or see point 1.

My thoughts anyway.

Option 2: Add a "Confirm Close" item in Input Configure is easy to implement and will do the job.

(removing the close button and add it to the right-click menu is even better)

+1 for confirm on close.

This has always worried me that I would accidentally close an input during a broadcast. Of all the idiotic mistakes I've made during broadcasts, fortunately this has not been one of them... yet.

For those who say the pad lock is good enough...and for some cases it is, but a client of mine has an XK-124 TBar and wants the first 12 inputs the same so that the shortcut mapping is more consistent. If each input had a lock so that it couldn't be moved to a different number or closed accidentally, it would be a great addition.
