vMix software control interface is very usefull for only mouse control. We need bigger size buttons for finger tips for Touchscreen panels. So you don't need a hardware control panel. Especially input controls bottom section overlay buttons are too small. Also transition buttons need to improving. It will be best.

I think the necessary tools are already there to fullfill your request.
With the help of ToucOSC (http://hexler.net/software/touchosc) and the shortcut feature of vMix you can develope your own interface (with as many buttons in any size and functions you want) and control vMix.
If you're not working with Android devices or iPhones then there are similar software products for Windows available.

Patrick +1 for Touch OSC I have been using Touch OSC and LEMUR software for years to program touch screen interfaces for lighting, video, DJ's and Musicians. It is pretty amazing what you can do with a simple ipad as it needs very little computing power to be a controller. LEMUR and TouchOSC have android versions now, but I have only ever used OS devices and the original Liine LEMUR Touch Screens. I am a new user to VMIX and as soon as I seen that it had midi shortcuts I quickly designed a controller in TouchOSC. And just last week added all the new ACTIVATORS to the controller in VMIX18 so the buttons/controllers show instant feedback and changes. I have just finished another controller version for our 12" ipadPros The large screen gives lots of room for buttons and controllers. Now I just need to figure out how to get the ACTIVATORS to blink a midi control button for those important buttons like FTB. They are very good looking but functionallity is not enough. Actullay these types of control panels are looks a screenshot of hardware panels. When you want to select the input, you have to look vMix input window and then you look the panel for push the input button. It may several input windows use at the same time, quickly process need, because it is live. If it is a software panel like your suggest you have to control two screen with your eyes and your fingers. So i mean, if vMix software interface improve for this purpose, you never need any 3th party control panels and softwares.
