The October vMix Fun Time Live Show will be on Monday 17th of October at 8pm US Eastern Standard time! Here's a chart on the local time for the show for you- http://www.timeanddate.c...T10&p1=1490&ah=1

vMix Diamond draw will be happening on this show! So tune in. You have until October 15 to get in your entry for vMix Diamond. We're well over 160 now!

We've been experimenting with our set up and 4K so we'll discuss where we're at with that.

The show can be seen via vMix.com/live. We have a chat room so you can talk to us and other watchers and ask questions.

If you miss the show live, you can check it out on our YouTube Channel. If you have any questions you would like answered, you can add them to this forum post.

What's the vMix Fun Time Live Show?

It's a monthly live show that takes a look at live production and all things vMix. We discuss upcoming features, events and tutorials. There is a question and answer at the end of each show for any questions that you might have. Of course, the whole show is produced, recorded and streamed on vMix! Sometimes a Beta version of an unreleased version of vMix is used which makes things even more exciting!

I'm probably a bit late, but how do we know if our entry was accepted? I sent mine in the day the September live show was posted to YouTube (one entry using a single e-mail address, not connected with any proxies, etc) and received neither an acknowledgement of the entry when it was submitted nor an e-mail explaining why it wasn't accepted.

Sorry about that, it's a bit late now. You should have let us know before the show and I could have scoured our SPAM logs to see if it was there. Next time!

Referring to the show, 4K for streaming is a bit overkill.
You need also a very fast CPU to watch 4K in all it's glory.

Thanks for another great show. I did't want to watch it in HD only. So I decided to go to bed before 2 in the morning (local time in Stockholm), and wake up for the 4K version. Haha!

Besides all the useful info (and that the v18 beta now is out), it was interesting to hear about your problems with X99. I am still struggling, and only with Full HD.

ps nice trick with the bingo ball. Not even Penn & Teller could make it disappear, and then re-appear, like you did ;)

Another smooth show guys, great job!
Somewhat curious to know if you had to do any kind of colour matching or adjustments given the various cameras and sensors, particularly the BMCC 4K, I'm not all that familiar with the video output of that camera, but from what I have seen, it's pretty flat giving it more dynamic range for post production colour correction. For that matter, which of the three did you find to be the most "User Friendly" (I've certainly got my eye on the DVX 200)?
