I am doing a 4 camera switch and want to disable the preview window as I feel it's wasted space for me.
It's a shame one can't move inputs (cameras) around in the display layout of Vmix. Ideally all 4 videos could sit where the preview monitor is so they are nice and big and easy to see.
At the moment I find switching multiple cameras in Vmix not as easy on the eye as in post with Premier or Edius simply due to the small windows.

I have seen requests for this feature for long where the Preview window could be disabled, and something else replacing it, like the Video list, or titler, since in a multi-camera shoot, me personally do not even look at it...I just go straight from input to input....It has its uses, that is why I wish it could be switched on and off as needed...
Premier and Edius are Editors, not live production switchers, so do not expect the same .....if you want to make the input monitors larger, read the manual ...it tells you how to do that...http://www.vmix.com/help17/ see this...

Duff, takes a while to get used to using the Preview monitor when you are used to other solutions, but once you have it becomes a very powerful tool. With that number of cameras, I suggest you concentrate on switching with a control surface, in your case the keyboard, and use the standard shortcut template which uses row z-m to fade to program, a-l to cut to program and row q-p to load to preview.

I too don't use the preview window. I've been clicking the inputs, with the option set to transition straight to the output window, so the preview isn't much use to me either. That's a great spot for audio mixer too!

When I'm using the External Multi-View, I'd like to be able to disable the Preview & Output panels in the main vMix window, to make space to display more inputs.
