Hi! I'm trying to discover the problem. When stream over "WMV Streaming" (in the recording menu), i get a lot of frames lost (about 10 frames, when i setup 25 per second). I cant find the problem. When recording in MP4 there is no problem. I work with: -Asus B85M PRO 4 -8GB RAM -Intel Core i7 -BM Mini Recorder x1
Do you know how can i find the problem? Thanks! Regards!!

@ guztavo
Do you have a specific need for "WMV Streaming" from recording settings? AFAIK, this does not record internally but streams to a designated port on your computer.

Thanks ICE! I stream at 25fps. vMix general setup it's at 720p50. The Sony camera work with the Blacmagic at 720p50. There is no difference between the bitrate. Drop frames at 10 / 15 / 20mbps. Thanks!!!

Drop frames at 10 / 15 / 20mbps. Thanks!!! New test has given this results: Recording time: 00:17:00 Dropped frames: 2168 Render time: between 9-18ms Total CPU usage: 50-60% vMix setup: 17 / 720p50 Win10 I found something interesting. While losing frames, in Windows Task Manager i see a 40% of hard disk usage (about 39% by vMix). But that happens when playing a specific list. When i start playing other video, losting frames stopped and hard disk usage falls to 0%. File that causes fails: Video: -Bit rate: 2019kbps -720p25 Audio: -bit rate: 154kbps -channels: 2 -sample rate: 48kHz File that do not fails: Video: -Bit rate: 2898kbps -720p25 Audio: -bit rate: 144kbps -channels: 1 -sample rate: 44kHz The "i" button show dropped frames by hard disk / CPU. And, when using a camera with different configuration than the project, i get a lot of frames dropped too, by hard disk / CPU. IMPORTANT: This issue only happens on WMV STREAMING. When recording, i only have issues with the camera, no with the MP4 files playing. Thanks, regards

Do you use SSD or regular harddrives for your production? For me it sounds like the computer is exhausted trying to read/write to the disks, but it shouldn't be a problem if you are using SSD drives.
If you use regular harddrives, you really need to swap out those with SSDs for being able to record and play videos at the same time.

Cheers, Jens Stigaard Jens, thanks for your answer. Actually, i'm working with an SSD hard drive, so that's why i dont understand where this issue come. Any ideas? Thanks!

If the CPU in the system does have hyperthreading, 50-60% is 100% in real time. So you are overloading your system, which results in dropped frames.

Actually the i7-4790 have hyper-threading technology. I think the problem is that i'm working with onboard Intel HD Graphics 4600 instead of a dedicated video card. I will try adding a graphics card and tell you results. Thanks for helping. Regards
