Is it possible to make a custom transition, for example fly in of a picture (lets say logos of both team if broadcasting a match) every time I change from live camera to delayed video for slow motion?

Thanks

Hi,

1. Add an image input with your picture
2. Setup an overlay(number) (PIP) with a desired effect and set the duration to e.g. 2000 ms.
3. Assign a first shortcut to your just created overlay(number) and set the input to your picture
4. Assign a second shortcut to e.g. a cut transistion and set the input to your delay
5. Under the Advanced tab of your second shortcut set the trigger to the first shortcut

When you're now pressing your second shortcut, the delay will switch in and the overlay will become visible and will disappear after 2000 ms.

Regards,

Hanno.

Hi!

Hanno, do you know if it's possible to make a transition with Flash with transparent background?
The method that you proposed works, but don't let you make animated transitions...

Take a look at this!

Regards!

Hi GUZTAVO,
It is easy to get a flash animation with alpha channel (I even tried quicktime with alpha and it works fine on VMIX 32bit version only).
It is very simple to have an animated transition, just load a SWF or Quicktime file with alpha, add your camera sources, assign an overlay shortcut for the SWF file.
Play CAM1 source from keyboard press the shortcut for the overlay and when the transition is full screen just switch cameras with the appropriate assigned key (A, S, D,...) and you will have a very professional animated transition.

Regards,
Ali
