Hi,
I have a big problem! We produce a live talk show and we have 150 peoples into the bar who watch the show live and the other watch live on internet. My problem is that i need to change the audio output from files(video and music) in Vmix (because people in the bar want to listen the music and see video also), i want to put audio into a external mixer (for all microphones we need to listen live and during the streaming ) and return the sound into camera, and that camera send the sound and video via a Blackmagic Mini Recorder. So the real input for the streaming live on internet is the sound of the blackmagic mini recorder via hdmi. Is it possible to change the audio output from a video file or audio file like MP3 or MP4 in vmix?

Thanks for your help!

@brunochasse, Welcome to the vMix Support Forums. You have come to the right place for help, assistance and all sorts of great ideas of how to use vMix.

Help us out a bit here and map out a diagram of where you want the various sources of audio to go (and here they come from). When you say "audio output," in vMix that has a very specif meaning and may not be exactly what you mean.

Also, have a look at this vMix Training Video: Advance Audio Tutorial -

And to round out your general knowledge of how vMix handles audio, take a look at AUDIO in the Help of the vMix User Guide. I explains how the different buses work for routing audio outputs.

Looking forward to taking a look at your audio diagram.

Which external mixer do you use?
vMix does have 3 audio buses. The Main is going to your streaming.
There also is Mix A and Mix B.

If you want to get the audio in from the venue, doing so via external mixer and from that into a camera, would work.
You can send out the audio of the video's to a separate bus, input this onto your external mixer, and not send it back to vMix.
So you need a separate bus or aux to send to vmix from your external mixer.

Connect a USB sound fob / USB soundcard to the PC.
Configure this as bus A.
Amplify the output of this souncard to the room.
All sources you want the room to hear,
Check audio bus A, as well as master on the audio tab.
