A feature that would help integration would be the ability to send OSC commands to external device (over IP) We currently use OSC from CasparCG to control our x32 mixer in sync with video playback, and also pass MIDI through to a lighting console, to trigger DMX lights used for production cues. This works great, but having it available in Vmix would allow a lot of flexibility.
On the MIDI side, it would be great to be able to send MIDI data as input triggers, and in response to shortcuts being triggered, so that Vmix can light up MIDI controllers (provide visual feedback on which input is live) and also use send notes to MIDI devices for scene change cues for lighting, audio etc.
Let me know if you'd like any clarification on this feature request or if anyone has anything to add!
Cheers, Logan

I would like to +1 on the OSC.
I think OSC should be added to the "activators" feature.
The reason is, I do live streams but I use a separate Behringer X32 as the "USB Soundcard" AND also as a PA system for venues.
I would like to mute microphones from VMIX without having to use 2 different control panels to run a show.
We are also looking at getting vMix permanently into venues and this would work great with onsite OSC enabled mixers.
It shouldn't be a very hard task as I believe OSC is just a UDP packet which sends a "String"
The vMIX user simply inputs the IP address of the OSC device then enters in the required string (which they obtain from the OSC device manual)

+1 I haven't sussed out all the ins and outs but I believe it's needed to use touchosc - which allows you to make custom layout midi board on an iPad which would be huge for us (you can do push buttons and faders for audio on it)

I use TouchOSC on an iPad Pro and it works very well with vMix as a MIDI controller (I don’t use the OSC feature). You will need to install the midi bridge software from theTouchOsc website onto your PC and then the iPad will connect to vMix. You then progam the midi shortcuts and activators in vMix to correspond to your layout in TouchOSC. I use it for switching cameras, triggering replays, overlays, and audio controls. It can do almost anything you want...

It is already possible to send midi based on what input is live btw.
Basically, go into settings > Activators. There you can create triggers for midi signals, to any controller device available on that computer.
Just be aware that if you start the receiving device after Vmix, you might not get the initial Midi note. The way to fix this is creating a trigger that updates all activators (there a shortcut for that).
Also, only the first 200 inputs currently show up in the dropdown list for selecting inputs for activators.
In practice, its an easy way to program button lights, visual feedback and basically anything midi.

How is it possible that this is still not in vMix, vMix is awesome and has so many Midi controles build in. And i can use midi triggers from different programs, awesome but not able to send midi triggers from vMix is a big deal for me.
