Hi everyone

I'm trying to stream using FFMPEG but I keep getting an error:

"[tcp @ 042404c0] TCP Buffer has been set to 13470720 bytes [rtmp @ 0424fca0] Server error: Stream id: 3306181 does not match Stream Id in Connect packet: 330618"

When stream using FMLE everything works fine. FFMPEG doesn't work. I'm hoping you can help me.

And I'm trying stream:
3000 @ 1280x720
1500 @ 1024x768
600 @ 640x360

In the error code it looks like Vmix is adding a "1" to the end of the Stream Id.

If anyone has any thoughts/tips on this, I'd appreciate any feedback to get it up and running.

Can you give more detail please? The CDN and the Stream URl would be useful. Also are you using a Custom RTMP setting or a pre-programmed CDN from the dropdown list?

Hi there!

I think I just nutted it out... and embarrassingly it was operator error!

I didn't have the Stream Keys matching the Stream Quality Bitrates in vmix. Once I got them matched up it was all good!

Got a few questions though if people know the answers:

- Would you recommend using FFMPEG over FMLE?
- Why should I use the Main profile over Baseline?
- What Level, Preset and Threads do you recommend?
- What three bitrates do you recommend streaming at?
- When I select Use Hardware Encoder I get an error: "Error while opening encoder for output stream...." I have an ASUS GeForce GTX 780 DirectCU II. Is this not supported?

Sorry for all the questions... handy answers to know though!

The added "1" normally is only there when you send multiple streams.
If you send more than 2 streams at once, clicking the hardware encoder will give an error when it starts the 3rd stream, as low cost gaming cards are limited to 2 encodings at the same time.

So if you encode 2 streams at a time, the card should be capable of doing so.
