Very good feedback of stream via social media.

Hard to find people who know how use a camera. Had to tell them a few times to move the camera. Would liked more zoom but went well. Alot of feedback and youtube live chat was going ballistic with amount comments.

Thats because I set it up this time lol. Hard enough telling them how to turn it on when they up on the platform.

Sometimes it's not just the inexperience of the staff to blame, but also the tools you use...
I'm not sure what camera/tripod/head you use, but I suspect, like most of us, it's not high end broadcast stuff so it must be remembered that it can be a challenge even for the best operators to adapt to consumer and pro-sumer grade equipment. There's nothing harder than trying to follow a sporting event on a 2.5 or 3 inch monitor with a camera that has a small zoom button placed on top of a cheap tripod and head, not that that is what you use, but the point is, the easier it is for the operator to focus on the job at hand, the more likely you are to get the results we all desire.
I see that your play-by-play guys are just in front and below your camera operator, but can the operator hear them effectively? I have always found that if the camera operator can hear the program audio (with head phones), they are more likely to capture the visuals that go along with it. I also try to have them get as close to the camera monitor as is comfortable so they can see everything on screen clearly and are less likely to shift their gaze to the "real world" and lose focus on what the camera sees. It might seem awkward or un-professional, but I will often reverse the pan/tilt handle of the video head to the front of the camera to achieve this, forcing the operator to be a foot away and not the traditional 2.5 to 3 feet away from the screen, you just have to make sure their hand is out of view when wide open.

We had this thread before on this forum so I won't go on to much.. But

Try an app like zello... Feed the audio of the play by play guys back into a spare laptop, phone etc running zello and have your camera guys listen to the ( multicast ) output..

I use it extensively to build multi channel talk groups in and around a production.

Zello is something like walkie Talkie but it would be great if the talker/producer don't need to click to talk like on walkie talkie which some of them has option to transmit when talking starts
