Hi Forum,

Can anyone advise how to configure VMix to output video only from one (1) of two (2) configured Stream outputs where there is only one A/V source input?

Just to be clear, A/V stream for output (1) and Video output only for stream (2) both fed from the same source.

(This would be in the section of VMix where were you can configure up to 3 stream outputs)

Thanks for any reply.

Use Flash media live encoder.

External output from vmix to FMLE. Open 2 istances of FMLE, mute sound on one of istances and there you go.

Solved?

The solution mp suggested should work.

A variation of that would be stream the video and audio using vMix with the FFMPEG option. Then open FMLE as a separate program. Use vMix Video as the video source and uncheck the audio. This would stream only video from FMLE. Of course your computer has to have the power to run both vMix and FMLE at the same time.

Thanks for the feedback. Was hoping VMix had the ability so as not to have to launch yet another app to consume more resources.

Thanks for the suggestions tho, will give FMLE a run and see how much resource is left over!

Check out openbroadcaster as well.

I much prefer OBS over FLME.

Thanks for the suggestion @AElli.

The separate instance of FMLE seems to work ok and not tax the machine resources much more, although I have heard that OBS is even more resource friendly, so I may give it a try.

Thanks for all the suggestions.
