Virtual Camera from XSplit 1.3 not showing up in VMix

Hello forum.
I tried to search trough but couldn't find any related topics, so please forgive if this is already discussed.

For technical reasons, we have a need to use an older XSplit version 1.3 in our setup. (Well, frankly the new 2x versions of XSplit suck too much system resources to allow other things like VMix to send multiple streams)

The problem is that the Virtual Camera output of XSplit 1.3 does not show up as a Camera input option in VMix 17.x.x.105. This works fine in the newer resource hungry 2.8 version of XSplit, but remember we can't use it.

Does anyone have any idea why the XSplit Virtual Camera output might not show up in VMix? The same XSplit 1.3 Virtual Camera output shows up fine in other apps like FMLE and OBS. What do these apps see that VMix doesn't?

Sounds like the Virtual Camera may not support 64 bit.
You can try running vMix 32 bit ("vMix" icon in start menu vs the default "vMix x64") to see if it shows up there.

Thanks for the suggestion. You were spot on right. The 32-bit VMix happily accepted the Virtual Camera from the older 1.3 version of XSplit.

A simple solution is always appreciated. I didn't realize there was a 32-bit VMix version.
