Okay, I give up. What kind of controllers should I consider to control my PTZ Optics camera? Where can I get these... cheap?

Any PTZ Joystick with RS232/RS485 and/or IP will work..

Here is the cheapest PTZ Joystick with RS232/RS485 I found

ANNKE K01 PTZ Controller (Pan Tilt Zoom) with High Quality 3D Axis Joystick

Sorry, I should be more specific. I saw the vMix guys using a Xbox 360 controller at NAB. I want one like that. Something that plugs in via USB.

I should be even more specific. I don't want to pay more than $25US. ;-)

Tom,

We use a wireless Logitech Rumplepad for the PTZ control of three EVI 100s via RS 232.
The software we use is PTZ controller from serial Port Tool http://www.serialporttool.com/PTZ.htm
We spent $40 for the software, the price is now $100.00 I see on their website and $25 for the Rumplepad.
The software handles all kinds of protocols and you can have tons of presets.
