As I mentioned- I am coming from xsplit - - I realize it's a much cheaper program - and probably vMix is way more powerful.. but that being said - I can seemingly do something on xsplit that I cannot figure out w vMix.
w my current setup -
I have all mics going to a mixer.. that mixer goes line-in into PC. PC streams, plays videos, etc. The audio out of the PC - feeds headphones of everyone. There is no delay in audio - I can bring in skype etc - no problem - and it all works with no delay whatsoever.
In xsplit - preview & system sounds are set to none. Everything else is set to default. And my computer is set to playback WHAT YOU HEAR.
When I currently stream w vmix - I only hear files.. my line in doesn't play - so I added the line in - input - but then there's a delay - - is this where I would have to set up the audio delay feature in vmix? And this would be why skype would get a delay audio?
And if that's the case - is there a way to set it up like my xsplit - so I don't have to go the 2 computer route?
Or is there a better audio set up solution?

So - here is what I have done - tell me if I am setting myself up for failure.
I just didn't want to start re-wiring - and I had a feeling there was a way to fix this.
W Xsplit it was working without the echo - and I think I figured it out.
I set audio settings w
MASTER - NONE HEADPHONES - NONE
NEW AUDIO - A
I then added my RECORD WHAT U HEAR to MASTER.
Now I hear everything in headphones - but no echo.
and when I play any audio/video - it plays to the recording w/o repeating.
I imagine - it's better to set up with the mixer - but for now this seems to fix my problems - unless I am missing something?
