I too would love to have a browser reload shortcut added.
I have tried with many different ways to replicate it, but they all take several seconds to re-render the page - whereas reload takes a few ms.

Urgently needed!

This little scripting program "Autoit" might become very handy in some situation. It is a free and I used to use it a lot long time a go. It runs in the background and you could assign a shortcut to do some task or let Autoit refresh the browser every 30 sec by it self without the need to press a shortcut.

"About AutoIt: AutoIt is a freeware BASIC-like scripting language designed for automating the Windows GUI and general scripting."
