The best recording hardware configuration

Hi Martin!
I need to buy a new PC to run vMix, and i need some suggestions about hardware, to make no mistakes:
I'm thinking on..
Intel i7 processor
4GB RAM (Some sellers suggested to me to use 2 buses (4GB + 4GB) for a better performance, but i dont know how critical will this be)
1TB hard disk (the seller offered a 128GB solid state hard disk but i think its too much)
Asus P8 motherboard
ATI RAEDON 1GB
I already have a Pinnacle Studio 700 USB with firewire and RCA connections. Can i use this?
Can i use a standard firewire PCI capture card? I can use one capture card with 2 or 3 ports to connect all my cameras?
We need to:
-use 2 SD cameras
-1 delay
-2 titles
-record this over a DVD
Are the hardware and my intentions compatible?
I need to be sure about the hardware before buying it. The final destination is TV so now i'm working over a laptop with some issues of performance, but i need a stable and a sure system.

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner.
The specs you have provided (Core i7 with ATI 6850) should be fine for smooth HD and/or SD recording.
For 2 cameras I would recommend either the DeckLink Duo (if they are SDI cameras) or 2x Intensity Pro.

Thanks for your answer.
I will keep making you questions to make no mistakes:
It's critical to use 2 RAM cards? Sellers told me that Core i7 CPU works better with two cards of 4GB than 1 of 8GB. We need now 8GB?
We have 3 cameras:
-Panasonic NV-GS500 (SD PAL)
-Panasonic NV-GS300 (SD PAL)
-Sony HD 1000 (working on SD mode PAL)
Now we are working only with the sony cam, with a Pinnacle USB 700.
All our cameras works over firewire (or RCA video), so i saw DeckLink duo or Intensity Pro dont have that ports.
In the other hand, we saw that the prices are really differents between a standard firewire capturer or a BlackMagic board (yes, i know they are differents, but we want to go step by step). The other problem is that i didnt find sellers of this boards in my country (i can try tu buy it in other country, but the warranty can be a problem...).
So, now the questions are, based on the work over SD (no HD for now):
-It's a good idea keep working with the Pinnacle USB 700 capturer?
-Do you know if other users works with standard firewire cards? Or did you test some cards? Brands?
-Can we find delays between cameras if we use different capture cards (both over firewire)?
Probably in a middle time we will try to buy the board that you recomend us to work over HD, but the TV channel that we work for, dont work over HD so any work that can we do in that quality will be the same to the spectator.
Thanks in advance, and sorry for all that questions, but i want to take a good decision.

Using dual channel ram makes a significant difference to the memory throughput. Whether single channel in your system is enough for vmix is really the question. If it is, then having two separate modules won't make things noticeably better. But DDR3 ram is so cheap that it makes no sense to go easy on the ram. The video edit machine I built has 16GB. Not because we need it, but because it really was so cheap I just maxed it out.
So just use two separate modules. Much better.

On vMix technical specifications i see that recommends 4GB DDR3 Memory, so probably with just one module i think will work fine. I just want to be sure that recording will be done without problems. And i have to find the best price-quality relation because our budget is limited.
Well, tomorrow at morning i will buy the PC.... any suggestion are welcomed....

Dual channel DDR3 would only start being needed if you require greater than 4 HD cameras, so go with whatever you can afford. As for capture I really do strongly recommend two intensity pros for two Sd cameras if you can afford it. Otherwise something like the below might be suitable, but it has not been tested: http://www.webcam123.com/en/vc440e.htmlIt supports 4 SD inputs. Note: mixing firewire and usb devices is not recommended due to the different delays. Regards, Martin vMix

Finally, by price, the final configuration will be:
Core i7 2600K
2x 4GB (really cheap!)
Probably Motherboard GIGABYTE GA-H61M-S2-B3 LGA1155
ATI 6850
HD 1GB
I'm worried about the capture card. The prices are really different between similar cards.
So i saw capture cards of about U$S 15 with 3 ports (i think they should be of a very bad quality), and similar cards of U$S 60....
Any way, what should be better? Same board for 2 cameras, or one for one?
About this... Canopus were tested with vMix? i.e. Acedvio? I can find them in our market much easier than Blackmagic.... (and cheap!).

I suppose you mean 1 TB for the HD, 1 GB seems rather small !!! :-)

I bought (and testing at this moment):
Core i7-2600K LGA1155 3.4GHZ
RADEON HD 6850 775M 1GB DDR5 HDMI DVI VGA
Motherboard ASUS P8H67 B3
RAM 2 x Kingston 4GB 1333 DIMM
Power: KC-CFA 780w
Capture card:
ENCORE ENL1394-PCI (3 DV inputs)
For now, i'm testing with:
2 Panasonic DV cam working at PAL SD
2 video delay (one for each cam)
4 titles
Recording AVI, default configuration. And testing v8.
For now, no issues.
