@stigaard just checking how compilling for APC Mini is going. I tried to compile with the instructions you provided but have a few errors that I'm not too sure on how to resolve. I figured out a couple missing references.
If you could post a compiled exe so we can test that would be great thanks.

The APC mini is tough because the documentation for the midi channels is nowhere near as complete as the APC40 Mk1. Side note, began work on my vMix plugin for the software I manage known as InputMapper, should make stuff like this much easier in the future.

philipp Hi phili76, could you post the compiled version for the X-Touch mini as I would like to test this unit for upcoming productions as well? Thanks Jens

ok, but the midi specs for the apc mini are not published and I do not own one, so I cannot make the necessary changes. But if you own one feel free to take the code and make the changes yourself.

The programming part is done, all the needs to be swapped out is the name of the device it is searching for from "Akai APC40" to whatever the mini broadcasts as its name.
Then the channel, note, pitch info needs to be swapped for whatever the midi for the mini uses.

Thanks to jhebbel for the code! I got Visual Studio Community 2015 and got it running for my Behringer X-Touch Mini. It will crash if there is no Controller, has to be added. The threads for checking the Status can be started/stopped with the buttons should also be implemented. I´m on vacation right now so just as is. attached the Visual Studio Project and compiled Version in Debug folder. br phil File Attachment(s): APC40_Shot_Selector.zip (252kb) downloaded 26 time(s).You cannot view/download attachments. Due to the fact that Activators is a new feature in the upcoming version of vMix, I set my development on hold on the custom software, and I'm sorry that I was unable to give an update earlier, I have been on vacation the last couple of weeks.
I didn't finish the development, and there are several things missing with the current version, hence I targeted that the program could both support Akai APC Mini and Akai MIDIMix..
I'm busy working the coming days, and the only window I have to hopefully finish the development is this weekend.

Still does not support multiple states. Devices like AKAI have support for different colors depending on the state of the input. This is important to me as I like to see weather the shot is loaded, standby, live, or layered. Until vmix opens up more of their interface to the API and subsequently to the scripting as has been requested TONS, this will not be possible without a clumsy UI.
