Is there anyway in vMix to set ffmpeg to use mp3 (assuming the ffmpeg external libmp3lame encoding library is setup)?
We need mp3, would love to try ffmpeg with vMix (currently fmle)...

From the vMix User Guide Quote:MP3 is supported when using FMLE (Flash Media Live Encoder) as the encoder, while AAC is the only option when using FFMPEG. FFMPEG does not have a built in MP3 encoder. There possibly could be a way of doing it by installing FFMPEG, using the LAME encoding library and running it externally. But that might not work for live streaming. If you want MP3 audio with vMix you'll have to use FMLE setting.

yes understood, using fmle now. was going to replace the ffmpeg installed with vMix with ffmpeg / external library and try that.. but can't even attempt to test since vMix is hardcoded.
I was hoping we had access the the ffmpeg profiles (edit) in vMix (streaming config) but those profiles must be hard coded and not on the drive somewhere.
