How about keycommand markers to a video or a live input based on time or manual key presses,it would be good for adding overlays in and out and for switching between different virtual inputs for different camera angles....hum what do u think? |

 Can you elaborate?
I am not sure I understand what part of this is not already possible.

Ok say you are playing a video, and u want a overlay to come in at 3:00 in just put a marker on the timeline,or say you have a camera with 3 virtual inputs attached,u can have the camera angles switch or anything happen by adding a marker ,like a cue timeline |

If you would want this now, you can just set a trigger on transition-in with a delay of 3 minutes. So it's already possible, but not with a marker in the timeline. |

I kinda like your idea of a 'timeline' marker for video clips for those of us that are more visually inclined, but as indicated, the things you describe are already possible with "Triggers" and/or "Shortcuts" and I am not so sure how easily such a "visual" interface can be added.
Either way, it will still require a certain amount of 'set-up' time to achieve the desired effect and/or behavior. I think over time we may see this type of "User Friendly" visual set-up interface as the software evolves but I don't think it's high on the priority list right now.
 Just my thoughts.

Well ya know since vmix doesn't lock to timecode or send timecode a timeline can't run to anything,,,,with incoming tc then u can do great stuff ,I am using a cue software using timeline markers to switch cameras from markers from a song being fed to foh console for band to play with ,and it's cool to switch to a cam during a big drum fill or solo ,cause u know when it's happening,so maybe vmix needs tc first |
