The audio file association with Stinger transitions appears to not be working in VMix 17.83.

I have tried it with both .wav and .mp3 files with no success.

I'm using a .tif sequence generated in Adobe AE. The video aspect of this looks and works great in VMix. It's the audio I'm getting nowhere with.

The first file in the sequence is named FNN Replay Stinger_00000.tif, so per instructions, I named the audio file FNN Replay Stinger_00000.tif.wav. I placed the file in the same folder with the tif sequence images. Nothing happens other than the video plays when Stinger 1 is pressed. I repeated this process with a .mp3 file....same thing.

Then I brought the audio file into VMix as an audio input since there were no instructions on where the file should be placed on the PC, thinking maybe it had to be an input in VMix. No luck.

No issue with either audio file...they both play perfectly as an audio input....checked them both.

As best I can tell from documentation, this should be working, but it's not. Suggestions....or am I still doing something wrong?

Just sent an email. I can confirm stinger transitions work fine with audio files in 17, so there must be something else going on here.
