I am still new to vmix and I am having trouble with custom xaml. I have some xml data and I want to read it in directly from a wpf. Reading the documentation http://www.vmix.com/help17/ it seems like this should be possible but I am having an trouble getting it to work if anyone here can point me in the right direction it would be helpful.

Have you compiled it as a dll? as any code behind won't work unless its a dll I use Visual Studio 2013 with Blend.

For those who are as ignorant as I was make sure you use a WPF User Control Library it can be found under C#/VB -> Windows -> Classic Desktop -> WPF User Control Library and this video can also be helpful
