You can accomplish most of this through the LIST feature in vMix. You can select your commercials you want to run, then order them within the list as you need to play them out. This can be done within in your production with the LIST as an input. It remembers where it plays from, so when you switch between the list and whatever is in PREVIEW, the next time you run LIST, it resumes from the last event played. Martin is working on improvements to the LIST functionality for vMix 18, and I believe it will eventuality fulfill all the requests you listed. We use it now to play out commercials for sporting events.
