Hi!

When adding an input with higher resolution than the output resolution, the image gets scaled. I would like to zoom in from the higher native resolution of the input, preserving greater details, instead of zooming in from the scaled input.

Is this possible?

Thanks.

You want to crop shots from a 4k shot? Run vMix in 4k mode and set your fullscreen output screen to 1920x1080 on the videocard settings, or if you use a SDI output, set the external output to the desired standard.
Vmix runs in 4K mode, so it will not scale the 4K image and the videocard output setting will scale it all back to HD.
Use Merge as the transition between the cropped shots and you will get nice camera movements as a bonus.

Of course this should also work from HD to SD
