Hi Can someone please confirm that the Teradek VidiU PRO is fully compatible with vMix17? http://teradek.com/pages/vidiuproI see that Cube & Bolt series are quoted in vMix Supported Hardware BUT there is no mention of the VidiU - either the standard version or the PRO Thanks John

@ ON.tv Channels
Compatible in what sense? As an RTMP Input? (I don't think it's really designed for that, they have other products for wireless video transmission) I suspect it's theoretically possible but will likely have high latency if you can get it to work. However, there should be no compatibility issues when using it for what it is designed for, namely "Live Streaming Without a PC".

Ice Compatible in the same way that the other Teradek products listed are Ice. We want to use it for streaming to a CDN from our existing Blackmagic switcher and from a vMix setup we are planning to build when we do not have a suitable uplink supply from whatever venue we are working? Clearly it could be used also as you say, from a camera in the field to a CDN - so a multi-purpose bit of kit, so to speak. Is anyone using vMix and the VidiU Pro for streaming and if so, be great to have your views? Many thanks.

Yes both the mini and PRO models will stream the output of both BMD ( I have a 1me & a TVS ) and the output of Vmix. Providing its fed with a broadcast std. signal 480/ 576/ 720/ or 1080.
