Hi, I have problem with setting audio. I have two inputs of audio - one from Behringer mixer connected into red input on back of computer - Mic, and second is audio from video - Vid. Simple. When I play video and click SOLO on its audio mixer it should be only track to hear in phones - and is! But not on recorded and streamed file. When someone talks to Mic when video is playing on recorded file one can hear voice from mic. What is SOLO for?

The SOLO function on an audio mixer is usually for monitoring, to allow the user to listen to a specific input (or, by pressing several solo buttons, a combination of inputs) without affecting the main output. It complements the PFL function (= Pre Fade Listen), which allows the user to monitor inputs that are not faded up and "on air" in the main output, for example to check the audio on a remote feed or when cueing up a video playback. Whereas the PLF is taken "pre-fader", Solo is taken "post-fader". see Description of PFL & Solo on MediaCollege.comThe bottom line is that Solo is not intended to provide a way of controlling the main audio mix, only the monitor/preview output.

Thank You. Its a pity, because I made trigger on video input to protect it from any voices when jounalist will forget to close mic on advertaising pause. I will do a trigger to setVolume Mic to 0. But , another - when I turn headphones volume off it also turns off my recording while the audio meters are active.

This should not happen so make sure vMix is the latest version and under Settings -> Audio if the "Recording Audio" option is in the list, change it back to vMix Audio

I have latest version of VMix, and settings in audio is also vMix audio, but in Martin video tutorial about audio I have seen that Martin has Master Output in Audio Output Setting set to none. After that it is playing as it should. Is it right now? And what is Master output for in this case?

Can it be your outputs were routed to the same channels? I can remember I had some oddities going on some time ago when that was the case by mistake.
