Hi! I'm writing because yesterday i used for first time vMix to record a basketball game. Now, i have to put to that avi file (recorded at PAL 720 x 576) 3 overlays and store the result on a DVD. When i open the file, just to see it, i see it's perfect. When i put the file on Adobe Premiere CS3, on a new PAL (48khz) project, the file is imported but it see in a bad quality (image, titles, video, everything), and the audio is cutted at the last 25% of each clip. I tryied that on other programs, and found some similar problems... Any of you know what i'm missing?
Thanks!!!

Hi, Try the following to see if it fixes up the audio in the AVI file: 1. Download a copy of VirtualDub: http://www.virtualdub.org/download.html2. Open up the AVI file in VirtualDub and play the video to make sure everything is ok. 3. Under the Video menu click "Direct Stream Copy" 4. Go to File -> Save As and try saving to a new file 5. Open up the new file in Adobe Premiere The process above rebuilds the AVI from scratch including the audio synchronisation. Regards, Martin vMix

I will need a screenshot showing the quality issue in premiere to know how best to solve it.

Guztavo I too had a problem with the audio being cut off at the end of avi file from vmix when importing them in to the timeline of CS4. I had to use a program to rip the audio from the file and use it on the time line. I purchased a new hard drive for my computer and had to reinstall all the software. Now it seems to be working ok for the most part. Greg

Thanks Greg!
Martin, i saw the quality problem, but it seems to be the camera. In the other hand, i saw the titles with less definition than the full screen mode, but the computer that we use isn't of my property so i can't send you yet screenshots... so hold please a few days.. i will use that computer this weekend and i will send you the screenshots... Thanks and sorry for my delay...

Hi! I have a problem with recording avi to disk. I need to record to PAL DV with 720x576 resolution. When i'm opening the recorded avi file, it has 768x576 resolution. I have checked Recording Setup window. AVI tab contents: Size - 720x576, System - PAL 50i or 25p, Codec - DV Video Encoder, File Format - AVI.
Then, i have checked Settings window, Display tab it says Output Size is 720x576 too.
But why does vmix 2012 - 7.5.0.35 record have 768x576 resolution?

What program are you using to open the AVI file? Many programs will scale the output to 768x576 due to the default aspect ratio, so if you have the option try changing the aspect ratio in that program until the size reads 720x576.
