When connected to the internet via my 4G dongle something other than my stream is using up a crazy amount of data.
I went through 4 gig in 40 minutes recently. I checked my automatic windows updates and it is set so that I have to instigate the new download so it can't be that.
In my Vmix stream settings I am inputting @ 1280X720 50P I am outputting at 860X480 @ 50P and at a bit rate of 1,000. Tonight it happened for a 2nd time. I had spent $100 getting another 10 gig with Telstra (Australian carrier) and the same again about 4 gig gone in no time, like 40 minutes of stream time!
I'm scratching my head with this one, have a really important stream on tomorrow at a remote location so need this sorted!
We hope to be live with our Aussie Rules stream at 2PM Aussie time. One camera on game, 2 commentators with green screen, replays, picture in picture, scores, timeclock.
VMIX ROCKS!
Regards
Martin

What is your 720p bitrate?
Couldnt that be Dropbox or some similar cloud service that is auto synchronising?

Great suggestion re Dropbox. It's most likely that. I will check it out in the morning and report back.
Thanks

When I stream live, I use Netmeter to see the traffic. That way it is easy to see if something is going on.
