Hi guys,

I am looking for an easy way to get (animated!) titles on screen. Of course vMix has some great title functionality out of the box. I've seen some great programs (SmartTitler for example) to update titles in an easy way. I also made my own little program with a couple of buttons to maintain scores (communicates via the API to update some scoring info). If anyone is interested in this little tool I will release it for free.

Long story short, some tools are great but too limited, some are on hold (like SmartTitler), some are too expensive and others are too comprehensive. NDI is maybe one of the best things I've seen in a while and I see some great opportunities to create an application which sends titles to vMix via NDI.

My background: I am a web developer and have some basic knowledge about C#/VB. The NDI SDK looks reasonable easy to work with. The examples provided by NewTek are working great in vMix!

I'm willing to invest some time in the NDI SDK and start a title project based on NDI. With limited time and skills in mind it will take a very long time to do it all by myself. So, anyone out there who is also interested in starting an open source (title) project? With input from the community I think we can achieve great things.

Because I did not know this wheel existed. Thanks, looking into it :)
