Hello,

since V5 I get an error while selecting Bob for deinterlace. In V4 it works fine.

Hi,

This error was added due to the way Bob Deinterlace works.
If you don't set the system frame rate to something like 50p or 60p then bob deinterlace will look jittery on the final recording.
Hence why this option was added.

If you do not wish to make a 50p or 60p recording, then using the Blend Deinterlace option will achieve the best result.

Regards,

Martin

Hello Martin,

the problem that I have with Blend deinterlace in V5
is a choppy output, while in V4 with Bob I have a smooth output.
What can I do to get V5 to the same result as in V4?

Thanks in advance,
Silas

If the camera is 50i set the output in settings to 50p.
If the camera is 60i set the output in settings to 60p.

Martin
