Hi Martin,
I have a suggestion for version 6
You can view Vmix two outputs?
How to work with data projectors sometimes you need two screens, one projecting a scene and the other screen a different image.
If you can, then:
1 - Enable the menu "Settings / Display / Output Screen" output to two monitors. 2 - In the parameters of the "Input" button to access the "i", have a button to select which screen will display the scene (Screen 01, Screen 02 or both); exemplified below. 3 - Optionally separate button "Fullscreen" referring to two buttons each output screen.
Example (3 cameras and 02 Videoclips)
Configuration of the inputs:
Camera-01: Screen 01, Screen 02 Camera-02: Screen 01, Screen 02 Camera-03: 02 Screen
Video-01: Screen 02 Video-02: Screen 01
When pressing the button quick play these entries, in this sequence:
Camera-01: "Screen 01" and "Screen 02" show the same scene "Camera-01"
Video-01: "Screen 01" scene continues with the "Camera-01" "Screen 02" run transition. Get out of the scene "Camera-01" and the scene shows "Video-01"
Camera-02: "Screen 01" run transition. Get out of the scene "Camera-01" and the scene shows Camera-02 "Screen 02" run transition. Sai scene of "Video-01" and the scene shows "Camera-02"
Video-02: "Screen 01" run transition. Get out of the scene "Camera-02" and the scene shows "Video-02" "Screen 02" continues with the scene "Camera-02"
Camera-03: "Screen 01" scene continues with "Video-02" "Screen 02" run transition. Get out of the scene "Camera-02" and the scene shows "Camera-03"
This time, no print screen to illustrate. I hope you understand my explanation
Mauro.

Hi Martin, I have a suggestion for variations of effects. Objective: 1-Set up the side of the screen where the transition is performed. 2-reverse the order of the transition (A-B / B-A) Suggestion: 1-Create a controller input position effect. 2-Create a button to reverse direction. 3-In the overlay, create output effect. Mauro.

Hi Mauro,
Thanks for your suggestions. The multiple output idea may not be of much benefit to most customers unfortunately. It would also take a very long time to implement (if it is even possible). I have to try and dedicate my time to features that will be appreciated by the majority of users.
Regards,
Martin vMix

Hi, Martin
Thanks for the reply.
Another request:
I'm using the tab "photos" to open PNG files and use them as an overlay. This allows you to have an alternative to the more custom titles. Can you add an option to double click on the thumbnail photo (in slideshow settings) to show just how "overlay"?
Mauro.

Hi Martin, Just a small suggestion/request. Would it be possible to enable keyboard shortcuts when the Title Editor window is in focus? I have set up a function key to display a title as an overlay, and I usually want to display the title immediately after editing the text. Right now I have to click back into the main vMix window after editing in the Title Editor window before I can use the shortcut. It would be really nice to be able to use the shortcut while still in the Title Editor window so I don't have to use the mouse at all.
Thanks for all the great improvements in v5! Jonathan

Hi Martin,
I have two very simple suggestions:
1. could you add a tag to the lists of input sizes for easy selection of widescreen. You could mark them with an * for widescreen - this way it is easy to select. This would be nice for all lists, including input en preview screens etc.
2. when selecting a video capturing input it would be nice if the last choise could be remembered for both the video and sound input. If possible it would be nice if a 'matching pair' can be preselected when you change. I have four BM inputs and frequently only use one specific input pair including the matching sound input. But I have to scroll through the lists and find the right pair everytime.
greetings, Stefan

Hi Martin,
It seems that our hardware switcher is at least a week or two away ....... so, in the meantime, would it be possible to send the active input or preview screen to the output by clicking on the input or monitor icon. That's where the mouse pointer is because we've just selected it. A second click would save a mouse movement and a possible mistake, and I'd also be able to hold a mug of tea in my left hand rather than pressing the space bar.
TIA Brian
