Hi,

I own a Vmix 17 HD version.I just noticed that i cant choose graphics adapter from the dropdown menu. It's always on Intel (HD) Graphics family. The nvidia GPU is not even there. Same issue on the tower pc and on my laptop.

Is there something i can do to fix that?

Kind regards

I also can't choose grahics adapter in dropdown-menu.

When I want to use my nVidia GFX-card I use the right mousebutton to start vMix, there you will find an option to start application with your nVidia GFX-card.
If you get an error starting vMix with the nVidia GFX-card, check the Display Output Size. I had to change this setting to be able to start vMix with my nVidia GFX-card.

Thanks Mari,i already tried that. The Nvidia card is already chosen to open VMIX from Nvidia properties but still, in the performance menu of VMIX, the Intel (HD) Graphics family card is the only option.

Kind regards

I also have this problem. If you change the screen resolution in vmix settings from 1920x1080 to 1280x720, then vmix can run with nvidia graphics card , but with a screen resolution of 1920x1080 and the nvidia chip program does not start and gives a warning... How can I fix it anyone know ?

I had the same problem with my new laptop that had a on chip (integrated) video card. Intel HD 530 and the NVIDIA Quadro M2000M. In order for me to get them to work properly I had to check the box under settings that was labeled "Enable Optimus Graphics compatibility". You then restart vMix and it should be there. Also note in your NVIDIA control panel you can insure vMix selects the right one as well and what the default is once Optimus is selected.
