                Hello,
I can't understand the price of vMix Thunder - $2995. How it possible?
  1. MSI WS60 >$2000 2. AJA Io4K >$2000 3. vMix Pro >$1000
Total >$5000 But vMix Thunder price is <$2995.
  Laptop is not included?

@ Denis_72 That is correct. "Laptop is not included" The MSi is shown as one of the supported laptops with "Thunderbolt" (which is what is required for the AJA Io 4K). http://www.vmixhd.com/thunder/A list of compatible laptops is further down the page. I see a a second thunderbolt there for daisy chaining. How many can you daisy chain together? or is it based off what the host can handle?

Yes, theoretically. But You would not try 6 x 4 = 24 HD video sources daisychained on one thunderbolt, right? ;-)

The original Thunderbolt is 10Gbps, Thunderbolt II is 20Gbps and Thunderbolt III is 40Gbps. The original Thunderbolt could easily carry 4 720P or 1080i sources at 1.5Gbps (6Gps total). Now that many are moving to 1080P, the bandwidth requirements double to 3Gbps for each source. Of course, the capabilities of the computer connected to the devices would also come into play.
