There have been no changes to the RTMP input for quite some time, is it possible the latest vMix update also coincided with updating the Flash player? Just tested vMix 17.0.0.81 on an up to date Windows 10 and the Flash input is working fine with sound.
(Note the Flash/RTMP input uses the Adobe Flash Player, so any changes there can impact vMix like a bug recently in a flash update that broke some functionality)

Yeah, not sure why it is happening it is running on a dedicated server. Also is there a way to create a shortcut to reset rtmp inputs?

Yes pleas, Flash / RTMP seem to be unstable sometimes, an Input RESET via the API would be great!
