Hi,
What delay should be normal/expected when using vMix internal mixer with an ASIO interface (specifically a Behringer FCA1616)?
Since I'm getting > 100 ms I'm not able to send a mixed local microphone to the amp since it bothers the speaker.
What is your experience in this regard?

I use a Focusrite USB interface. There is a small delay though I have never measured how much. >100ms sounds about right. When I need to monitor audio live (commentary guys like to be able to hear each other and themselves) I need to use the audio feed from the interface. Any delay will make it very hard for them to speak with the loop coming back to them.
My Interface has 1/4 inch jacks that feed out the signal before it leaves the device so It will have zero delay. I monitor the audio that is being fed into vMix but that would not be the feed I would send to your speaker.

Edit: after looking at the Behringer 1616 it is very similar to my unit. You want to feed the speakers from the Line Out (Balanced) jacks on the back. They will be Mono so if you want stereo sound you will need to use 2 channels (Main 1 is left & Main 2 is right) but any of them should be able to be configured to output any mix of channels. Focusrite has a Mix Control Software that allows me to enable or disable any input coming in to the Interface and direct those mixes out of any specific outputs that I choose. I use some inputs to go to vMix and others simply to direct to my camera operators for communication without ever going to vMix or my commentary audio monitor feed. Once you understand the workflow there are a lot of possibilities.
If you need some direction let me know.

I'm wondering whether vMix adds a delay to the audio to match it to the video delay for which I do expect a relatively big latency. If this is the case I would like to have at lease one of the A/B buses with no delay. Yep, that is what I could be doing if the fully digital/integrated mixing is not feasible. Thanks!

There will always be a small delay when going from analog to digital over the USB. After that each additional step will require a small amount of time to process. The way to go is analog back to the speaker. I just don't think you will be able to run the feed into vMix and output back to them without that lag.
Also I updated my original post in case you missed the addition.
