Hey everyone,

I have been using vMix Basic HD for a few weeks now.
It is awesome, seriously AWESOME.

I am running into some high CPU usage when recording audio and I was wondering if anyone might have some tips and tricks or a forum post link that might have some suggestions on what to do to lower it back down.

If I run 4 HD Video sources and switch between them and record I don't get much higher than about 15-20% CPU Usage.
When I record a single audio track I get almost 20% CPU usage, which seemed really high considering the rather low CPU for 4 HD Video sources.

When I record I am using .TS at 50mbs video & 384 Audio and it is working amazingly well.
I just wanted to get my audio recording at a lower CPU usage and was not sure what I might be able to do.

My USB Recording Device is an Mbox Mini. I am using a Single Channel of Audio at 24bit 48Khz.
I did have to 'fix' this device today by removing all drivers and software and reinstalling, before that I was getting a digital audio glitch I could not trace. It happened in Audacity as well so I knew it was probably a driver issue. Once I reinstalled the drivers I have been glitch free ever since, knocks on wood.

Thanks in advance for all your help lowering my CPU usage back down.

I am replying to my own post to say that the audio was not an issue.
The CPU usage was normal and probably had to do with the method of compression I am using MPEG-2 .TS, which is working great for me.

Thanks for the great software it is really working well for me.
