As you're probably aware vMix will be at NAB this week in Las Vegas. This is THE event for broadcasting so there is a lot going on.
We have our booth set up with workstation AND a live stage! This means vMix will have live demonstrations for people at the show and this will be streamed via our website. These shows will cover anything from vMix 17 to tutorials to partner interviews.

vMix is also powering the Teradek live show! You can also check out their stream here- nabliveshow.com. They cover all sorts of topics at NAB.
It's going to be a very busy week for us indeed! Feel free to drop by the stream anytime and take a look. If you see something exciting in the news about NAB and want us to check it out. Let us know. If we get a spare second we'll try and check it out!

Wow. So it's been a very hectic start to the week here at NAB. Well hectic is an understatement! This year we were lucky enough to secure a booth that was in the South Lower which means that we have a lot more foot traffic than last year. This is great, but also means things are VERY busy. The live show started out with Martin talking about the new vMix product- vMix U. This is 1RU rackmount machine with 4 inputs and all the info can be found on our website here- vmixu.com. He actually unboxed the vMix U live on the show which was fun. We have a demo station vMix U in the booth so everyone has been trying it out. We covered vMix 17, PTZ, social, Shortcuts throughout the day. We had a live cross from the Teradek booth in the other hall for their show at 2:30 which was a little stressful, but everything went well! The Teradek NAB Live Show is being powered with a vMix GO for the 3rd year now which is great. They will be crossing live to our booth each day at 2:30. Teradek NAB Live Show The show is then produced on our end by the LiveX production crew who do all sorts of crazy live productions including the New Years Eve Ball Drop in New York! I was able to interview Paul Richards from PTZ Optics about their cameras and how they work with vMix. I asked him about an NDI camera and there's a possibility that it's going to be out this year! It's been an interesting experience trying to run a booth as well as a live show, so there were a few hiccups today. We're hoping that we'll get better during the week and have them ironed out by Thursday! We'll be doing a full wrap up on Thursday at 1pm Pacific. We're not sure when the recorded videos will go up, we don't have much time each to go over them to make sure they are ok. Hopefully they will be up in the future at some point. I caught a few of the shows as they were live. And I must say you did a fantastic job!
Still don't understand how you managed to take care of visitors to your great looking booth, do your own productions, participate in the Forum, fix issues with vMix, be a part of Teradek's live production, and so on.
