Amazingly good software! I tried them all and this one is the best. The one issue, which someone else previously posted about some time ago, is that selecting an mp3 as an input (Input Select --> Audio--> select an mp3 and click OK) will ALWAYS crash the program, 100% of the time. Wave files and videos are fine as inputs and I have no other issues. I have a Presonus Audiobox USB plugged in as my sound card. Since the software is so good, I can always convert an mp3 to a wav if I need to play that. But mp3's definitely can't be used as inputs. Thanks!

Hi,
I've just tested MP3s under the latest version of vMix and they play back fine. What error message are you seeing?

Thanks for checking. The program immediately greys out, and then Windows says it has stopped working and ask whether to close or check for a solution online.

Hi,
This usually means there are some rogue directshow filters installed on your system. To isolate the cause try uninstalling any directshow filter packs and see if the issue still exists.

That worked! I blocked all of the Nero filters in Settings --> Decoders --> Blocked Directshow Filters and now it works fine. I have Nero Video 11 and Nero 7 installed. Thanks!
One other suggestion would be to let people know the streaming ability of vMix to WMV (as well as Flash). It could be used for corporate audio-visual presentations. I stumbled on that and had previously tried Wirecast and Broadcam. vMix works much better and is much lighter on my CPU.
