The one area that I feel vMix could improve upon the most is its ability to create commercial lists for use during live productions where advertising is aired. This would also be useful in other scenarios that are non advertising related.
The current functionality, while it works, is very cumbersome and you're constantly having to open various windows and move pointers and tic boxes to achieve the desired results.
My thoughts would be to enhance the current "List" functionality, where you could insert command lines much like you can using Triggers on inputs. For instance, lets say you want to leave program, run four commercials, and at the end of the last commercial, go to whatever's in Preview and put a graphic up at the same time. With the ability to "Insert Trigger" into the list, you could accomplish all these things pre-show by programming your list much like a "log".
bottom line, vMix presently doesn't handle playing commercials or a group of clips very well and I believe it would be a great feature (without a ton of effort) if it could.
Suggestions vMixers?

Is there a video on this? Or documentation you could share?

Way too complicated for the average user.

I agree with JimJacobs at some point, there need some little finess and improvement in the features of the playlist feature.
I've been using triggers on the items of the playlist which actually does not require that much of knowledge, however, it is not possible to see which triggers there is active on which item in the playlist when having the playlist window open, that would be awesome.
-- Wanted features -- I miss some other simple features in the playlist window: - Control/Shift to add multiple inputs to playlist - currently it's only possible to add a single input at a time - Playlist add available input to playlist by pressing enter / double click - "Batch settings" (settings that apply for all inputs in list, and applies only when playlist plays), e.g. playback speed, color saturation, etc..

Just from the top of my head. Isn't there the possibilty to set a trigger on Start Playlist? You could then set the trigger on a blank input, set up another trigger to select an input and put it live and set up the graphic.
