Hi All,
I am currently setting up vMix to run a countdown to a livestream for a client.
I have loaded a video into vmix, and when I press play only the audio plays, not the video. I have checked the video file on the machine it is running on using VLC, and it plays without fault.
Does anyone know any solutions to this issue? Also, does Windows Media Played need to be installed to play videos back, could this be the issue?
Many thanks, Daniel

What is the format of the video you are having trouble with?
Also what version of Windows are you running?

Depending on the media type you are trying to play (.AVI .MOV .MP4) you may need to install the Windows Server Essentials Media Pack. I'm not sure if this is currently installed on your system, but that would be a good place to start.
