Hi all.

I have finally given up on wirecast and need to use vmix. However the output stream options are a lot thinner than what wirecast has to offer.

What I am trying to send out several output streams from the 1 live production we have. I need to have:
1. 1 x unicast stream for local device
2. 1 x youtube stream.
3. 1 x amazon stream.

For the life of me I cannot see how to setup multiple concurrent streams within in vmix. Is this possible?

Unfortunately no.

I cannot see how I can configure a unicast output stream from vMix. This is show stopper for one of our solutions.

OK so it looks like there is no way to stream a unicast out from vMix. Could someone pls explain what the vmix virtual video is and how to make it work with VLC.

This link is on vmix website but I cannot find the options it talks about to configure. There is no vmix virtual video option in Settings -> external output. We are running 16.0.0.115 x64

Please check these links on streaming to multiple CDNs/locations

You should be able to do what you're trying to do with vMix.

For local unicast streaming try ffmpeg and something like this.

On vMix device:
- Enable External Output in vMix
- ffmpeg.exe -f dshow -i video="vMix Video":audio="vMix Audio" -b:v 1500k -f mpegts udp://remoteip:1234

On remote device:
- Start VLC and open network stream: udp://@:1234
