Hello all, my church really found this software the best for the production. It has been for several years we are recording PAL DV Standard (4:3) but a week ago we bought SONY NXCAM so that we will be able to record HD but I don't know some major issues. 1-What kind of cables do we need to keep the HD standard? 2-We have 3 SONY NXCAM, therefore we need a hardware that reads 3 of them at the same time and has an input of at least 1 audio, and sync them together. From where can I get such a hardware? 3-What problems I might face? 4-What specifications does our PC need to edit and render the videos HD quality? PLEASE ANSWER AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE. @ vahe You likely have several options available to you, but first, you'll need to confirm the model number and 'Output' capabilities of your camera. (I am somewhat confused since I would expect a camera of this caliber "Sony HXR-NX5U NXCAM" to have HD-SDI output but B&H only lists HDMI and Composite over BNC, Vistek here in Canada lists it as switchable HD/SD-SDI and HDMI) In any event, SDI would be the preferred (professional) connection, so I would seriously consider a multiple input capture card in that class, which will allow you to have long runs of relatively affordable coaxial cable. If HDMI is indeed the only HD Output of the camera, I would still consider HDMI to SDI converters somewhere near the cameras as opposed to using HDMI head to tail, but maybe that's just me. use this card : http://www.magewell.com/pro-capture-quad-sdiPC: Quadcore i7 4ghz or above. 16 gigs o ram nvidia GTX 960 4 gigs of ram or above windows 10 pro 64 bits SSD drives and regular high speed drives davinci resolve 12 free for editing :) God Bless you, PFBM

One more question. I would like to capture video and audio at the same time and let the machine sync automatically!
So what could I use?

SDI is audio and video embebed. so ...
The Easyest way is to connect the stereo mix from the audio mixer to the xlr inputs on the nearest fixed camera from the vmix system ( in line in mode ... not mic in )
that way there is no sync problem at all. be carefull with the levels :)
you can even use the mics from the other cameras to capture room ambience if you want. and mix it all in vmix audio mixer.
