If they can find the right price point this could be a real hit. Conceptually its nothing new as Matrox has video processors that do exactly this, but I get the feeling that he is leveraging more software in this box than Matrox does whouch could keep costs way down. Definitely keeping an eye on this!

Yeah indeed, price will be the key here. We almost never buy real broadcast equipment, since it's almost always overpriced. Just like with many technologies: if they find a use for consumers, prices will drop.

i was a kickstarter backer, but i changed my mind. it should do that with a 4k tv/monitor ill wait for next version.
