After downloading vmix2012 v4 we find the program very interesting for our productions. We start testing immidately.
BUT, if we purchase 1 license, how many installations can we do? We need from the beginning to install the program on 1 stationary PC and 1 laptop. Can we do that with 1 license?
Regards

Typically licensing is done on a per computer basis.
However, if you purchase the HD edition and send us an email I can provide instructions so you can install to your laptop as well on a single license.

Thank's. Now I have another question.
Running 2 or 3 different cameras in one project, I would like to capture the sound through only one of the cameras. Is it possible to set up the vmix so that i only records sound from one camera? I can se that I can activate the sound button on all cameras. At the same time, but when I do the first camerashift the sound is following the active camera. Can I lock or direct all soundrecording to only one camera?
Thanks in advance.

1. Double click the camera input to bring up the properties window. 2. Untick "Automatically mix audio"
Now the audio will remain active at all times.

Thank's.
Another issue:
After installing v4 I get 2 versions of icons on my screen. 1 for the 64bit and 1 for a normal setup. I started with the 64 bit but couldn't find my cinepro codes in the recording setup! The codec can be found in the normal setup.
So, what is the big difference between the 2 setups?
regards
Eivind
