Unfortunately, by now, I can't: the download link is not working. Could you check this out?

at once, it`s all working stable with mixing, recording and streaming.

I have updated the download to 7.4.0.38 to fix the following issues:

1. Fixed Virtual Set issue in regions where a comma is used as a decimal point
2. Fixed aspect ratio issue when using Virtual Sets in a non-widescreen setup.

The download is the same as before (see first post in this thread)

Martin

hi again,

thank you for updates but still giving me an error message.

vmix shows me some message about deinterlace method (bob) does not support vmr and dont load cameras, but i have not ticked vmr option. error report sended.
when i load cameras manualy, after select source options, i need go "i" and tick manualy the deinterlace option. deinterlace method is not loading with the source. this only occours when i choose bob deinterlace.

i tried the blend deinterlace method and no errors on saved profile. vmix load all inputs with no problems.

i can provide some more information, if necessary, to fix the problem. thank you again for updates,

Hi Melody,

Bob Deinterlacing is not supported for HDV as the deinterlacing is already done by the HDV codec.
(And is usually Bob Deinterlacing or better anyway)

Hello, Martin,

Some feedback on great new video delay capabilities:

1. For video delay input please add additional option (default) in dropdown “Original” that would Save the original length of video delay. For example, if I have chosen to use 7sec delay, I would also like to be able to save 7sec delay and not only 10sec delay that keeps looping the 7sec delay.
2. Can you make it possible to use video delay while Saving it? At this point we see a black window when trying to use video delay that is being saved.
3. Can you change the default title for video delay to "input_name_time_date" (so that time is visible in title and its easier to identify the recording)?
4. Can audio also be recorded for recordings? (master audio)
5. At some point I noticed video delay time of 23.96 sec instead of chosen 20 sec in preview window, which doesnt seem right.
6. At some point video delay in preview or input windows shows the real-time video and not the delay, which is not good. Previously we were able to see the delayed video in video input also in Preview and input windows.

Also I got a blue screen when running the test version for the second time and trying to add new input - hauppauge usb live 2.

Any chance we can get checkboxes in Options to autostart and autofullscreen? This would help a lot for unattended vMix installations in case the computer gets restarted.

Thanks,
Dundurs

Hi Dundurs,

Some comments on a few of your points:

6. By default the Video Delay now sets the position to "real-time" but you can change this by dragging then position bar when in preview.

Blue Screen: Blue screens are almost always caused by bugs in the capture driver, so I would suggest looking for a driver update for the hauppauge usb live 2.
CheckBoxes: There is an option to autofullscreen in vMix settings under Options. ("Automatically start maximised")

You can also place a shortcut to vMix in the windows startup folder:
C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

I will look into adding the other suggestions you have made.

Thanks,

Martin

I actually meant "start automatically external" so that vMix virtual device is ready to be used.

I think it was better previoulsy when by default we could see the delayed video. The real-time video can be seen in the corresponding video input so there is no need to duplicate this video.

Hoping you will consider the RECORD and STREAM status indicators as mentioned in my previous messages. Only showing the setup/start and green stop buttons can be confusing. A few times we thought we were recording but weren't and lost the show.

Tips for Testing and version 4:

1-Error loading even with Matroska Video "Haali Media Splitter" installed:

CVR
AddNewInput.CVR
The operation can not be performed because the pins are not connected.

2-Pressing the button "overlay 1 to 4" to create the same PIP video is pausing the image

3-Configuration "overlay" the parameters of rotation "X, Y, Z" does not change the image in red in real perspective that will be the PIP. The result is only seen when the PIP is applied.

4-Videodelay When saving a file is loaded in a new window. Tip: Save the first in a window "playback-delay" and the next file on a button "Combo box".

5-Create "Virtual Set" more layer "talents" to use more cameras.

6- When "Sharpen" is triggered deinterlacing is bad.

Sorry if I repeated tips already reported.

Mauro

Famous Pictures,

Could you provide some suggestions on what the record indicator would look like and where it would appear?

Mauro,

1. What video format are you trying to load?

2. Can you describe further what is happening here?

6. Sharpen is not supported with deinterlacing due to graphics card limitation.

Martin

Suggested changes:

1) Move transition buttons to the left.

2) VU meters side-by-side. Most professional audio equipment does not separate left and right channels. Having left and right meters next to each other makes it easier to match L and R input levels to a test tone.

3) Remove the text "Recording". Rename the "Setup" button to "Record Setup". Seeing the word "Recording" could indicate a recording is in progress.

4) Add red "Recording" indication when recording is in progress. It would not appear when there is no recording in progress.

5) Add red "Streaming" indication when external streaming is in progress. It would not appear when there is no streaming in progress.

What do you think?
