Greetings. I am currently working a Writers Festival. Authors, up to three at a time, with a host discuss writing, their books, etc... We do up to 5 shows a day each lasting an hour and a half.

My setup is as follows:
i7 , 12 GB, Asus R200, W7 Pro 64 bit, rack mount case, 725 watt PS.
3 Camera input, Sony HDR-FX7, Sonny Z7U, and a Blackmagic Pocket cam.
All cams use HDMI output into a Blackmagic Shuttle 2, I then use the SDI output to send to computer, with a Blackmagic Quad installed.

I am using HDMI output into a HDMI over Cat6 cable into two projectors for live viewing on each side of the stage. My delay is 4 ms, not bad. I can delay the main output and have perfect live sync.
There is a third output using the Blackmagic Quad output sent 100 feet into another room with a projector and audio provided from an aux mix.
We have a full PA system with an audio feed from the board into a separate mixer for audio input.

I am using External output to send to the distance room on output 4 of the Quad. Using RG6 cable with an SDI to HDMI converter at destination for the video feed. The delay is 68 ms. That's big. I am not sure why. Is it the External output? Is it the converter? Any ideas most appreciated.

When I switch between cameras, the audio from the cameras gets turned on automatically. Can this be changed? I don't want audio from cameras.

System is stable, and quality is great. Shuttle's provide backup recording and HDMI to SDI conversion. I would REALLY love to build a fibre based hard drive raid for this use, but $$$.

Any comments, suggestions, information or advice, most appreciated.
