@ ashu_ky I believe the Blackmagic Mini Recorder you reference is "Thunderbolt" and not USB. Most HDMI external capture devices require USB3 such as this one: http://www.magewell.com/usb-capture-hdmi.You have options, but you will likely have to provide more details about your set-up (cameras/computer specs etc.) to provide you with the most accurate advice. I have sony camera which is plug in the USB of VMIX PC (High end win 7 with USB PORT and graphics card Intel).
Now i want to get output from PC to two different capture card (Black Magic encoder).
Black magic take input as in HDMI format so we need USB to HDMI converter also.
______USB2HDMI------HDMI input to Black magic----output as will in PC1 VMIX-< ~~~~~~USB2HDMI______HDMI input to Black magic----output as will in PC1

@ ashu_ky
Unfortunately, I do not think you will be able to accomplish what you are describing. USB ports do not typically function as 'outputs' with vMix, nor are they commonly used as 'inputs' for Sony cameras. There may be other ways to do this but you will have to elaborate a little bit more on your actual hardware and exactly what you want to do. (laptop or desktop, make and model # of camera, computer, graphics card and any other hardware you have or intend to acquire will be a lot more helpful than just stating "High end")

Ashu, As Ice stated you can't use the Blackmagic encoders you linked to plug into a USB port. You basically have 2 options to connect your HDMI camera to USB3 port on your pc. http://amzn.com/B00PC5HUA6http://amzn.com/B00I16VQOYYou do need to confirm which USB drivers your PC is using to confirm these devices will work on your PC. I have used both in Vmix 16. The Startech is $200 USD and the Magewell is $300 USD. I am in the process of swapping out my old Magewell (black plastic case) for new ones under warranty. I like the connections of the Startech device much better. Tim

Ashu, Maybe you can draw a picture of what you are trying to do. I think your terminology is getting mixed up and therefore what you are trying to accomplish is not clear. It sounds like you have a camera, a USB Mic, and you want to bring the camera and mic into vMix through the Blackmagic encoder? However, your question is not stating that. Maybe you can draw a diagram on what you are trying to do and that will help.

Why have the two encoding PC's? vMix will handle the encoding within its own implementation of FMLE or FFMEG. I would also look at taking the audio direct into the vMix PC perhaps through an external mixer to give you control of each mike. You could then remove the splitter from the chain and go dierect from the camera to the computer reducing latency issues.

I agree. If I was given the same equipment I would do this. tdurhamjr attached the following image(s): Ashu Setup.jpg (478kb) downloaded 10 time(s).You cannot view/download attachments. Try to login or register.

ashu_ky wrote:what device i should use to split the Signal into two Streaming? What version of vMix do you have? If you have the Pro version you can stream 3 seperate streams simultaneously. When you click on the Stream Settings icon (cog wheel beside STREAM at bottom of screen) you will see 1 2 3. This is where you set your different stream settings (destinations). So you are not using any hardware encoders, but rather simply entering your destination stream information. Then as soon as you click on STREAM, it will push the live stream to 1, 2 or 3 locations you have specified. The Basic version only allows you to stream to 1 location. It would be well worth upgrading (or doing a trial) on higher level so you can greatly simplify your process.

I have pro version but I can't stream with VMIX directly.
As it's my company recommendation to use Adobe flash media encoder as streamer.
To made backup link we use 3 PC (1vmix+2fmle)
I am thinking of using 3 Derek 4k extreme. 1 for vim output and 2,3 for capture device input in FMLE PCS
What's your input ??

Again. vMIX has its own implementation of Adobe FMLE. So by using the vMix streamer module you will be following your company's recommendations.

As ASK has stated, vMix will stream via FMLE. It will take care of all your needs and you certainly don't need 2 additional PC's to make it work. Have you even tried to stream with vMix? If so why would it not stream?

Yes, I know VMix can stream 3 sources. but i want to create redundancy here. show this was is recommended in my organisation i can't change this.
I want to use VMIX PC with DERECK 4K Extreme as external renderer. then two SDI output to 2 Black magic encoder it will connected to 2 PC.

You have not created significant redundancy. However you have created complexity. At best you have created redundant encoders, but nothing else. For redundancy, I would have split your SDI and Audio Inputs and have two copies of Vmix Running. If you needed your redundancy to be "running". Otherwise I would just have a second Vmix Machine on standby. Ready to change your inputs over should something fail. So I personally would try and think simplicity + redundancy. Setup Vmix 1. Get running, save your profiles to Vmix 2. If something really bad like a disk failure on Vmix 1, start plugging cables into Vmix 2 and if you are lucky your downtime will be minutes.
