Hi all;
I am building a vMix system for a client and want to locate the controller for vMix into a lectern - kind of a "one man show" for the presenter. The touchscreen would be about 50' away from the vMix computer. (I will input 2 cameras and a computer/projector screen to monitor and switch...) My question is - can someone recommend a small "mountable" display that works well with vMix for a scenario like this? I'm thinking maybe about 7"-10". Thanks.

I need the connection to be stable and constant, though, from a fixed location. edit: oh yes, that might be perfect - I better read up. I envision the lecturer selecting and switching the camera and PPT inputs to Program, whilst PTZ aiming the cameras. And everything is to be ISO recorded, too. But the interface needs to "hide" in the lectern. Thanks

the web controller is very cool - can't believe I havent used it sooner. But for my present need, I need a (cue/preview) monitor in place as well, so I still think the touch screen is a more practical idea, feeding it Fullscreen Multiview.. For example, there is no accommodation for advancing PPTs. So any ideas/experience on a 7-10" touch screen I can mount? Thanks

What I have done for that solution was purchase the HP Stream 7. It is an $80 full Windows tablet that works quite well. Since Windows allows to run, well in windows or in split screen, I have the preview taking one half of the screen, usually via the network streaming capability and the other half would be the web controller. I have setup the web controller with shortcuts to advance slides on any powerpoints I have. It really works great, but that is the power of the platform that vMix runs on.

I tried to do stuff you describe, I ended up using a regular monitor to do the preview on, and a touchpad device (when i'm outside with a camera on the shoulder I even used my cell)
the preview can be put in console, but if your production allows for it also can be a large screen outside of the shot.
